3pm display of falconry and other birds of prey, with Pacific Northwest Raptors.
Concert tickets at the door and also available at Radway in Cowichan Bay, and The Community Farm Store in Duncan. $10 adult, $5 child.

The programme will feature a tantalizing mix of old and new repertoire, from the tenth to the twentieth century, including robust mediaeval songs of praise, early renaissance laments as only the French could write them, and some gorgeous modern repertoire from around the world celebrating the innumerable and irresistible virtues of women, as somehow befits the fecundity of Spring. It will feature the music of the Norwegian composer Thomas Caplin in a gorgeous and somber Agnus Dei, something from Hildegard von Bingen, and the remarkable purity of Director, Elizabeth MacIsaac's solo voice, in addition to wonderful choral arrangements by composers as diverse as Gustav Holst and Guillaume Dufay.
