Ensemble Laude Women's Choir

Support Ensemble Laude

There are a number of ways to support Ensemble Laude. The first is, of course, to attend our concerts: we are grateful for the generosity of audience members who enthusiastically applaud our musical endeavours. Another is to purchase our merchandise, such as our upcoming and exciting new CD recording, Inspirata. (Ordering information coming soon.)

If you would like to extend your appreciation in other tangible ways, we invite you to consider becoming a donor, providing a sponsorship, or placing an advertisement in our concert programmes.

How Laude Gives Back

Under the direction of Elizabeth MacIsaac, our award-winning choir offers two major headline concerts each season for which admission is by donation. These thematically oriented concerts feature beautiful choral performances of works from around the world which appeal to all ages. Other concerts throughout the year support such charities as the Rainbow Kitchen, Somenos Women’s Shelter, and Women in Need (WIN).

Ensemble Laude Choral Society is a registered not-for-profit organization that runs the Ensemble Laude choir. Like the choir, its purpose is to encourage and promote education and performance of choral music. As such, we focus on the research, performance, and enjoyment of medieval, early, and unique multicultural music, frequently in collaboration with other singers and instrumentalists.

The Need

It is through the support of our community that our concerts may be offered by donation, allowing music lovers of all financial means to enjoy these performances of worthy and rarely performed multicultural and early repertoire.

Ensemble Laude seeks to offer performances that delight audiences and touch the community. Our 2011-12 season highlights will include the commissioning of a composition from renowned composer Nicholas Fairbank, collaboration with dancers to add choreography to some of our music, and an invitation to participate and compete in the Kathaumixw International Choral Festival in Powell River in July, 2012. We believe these plans will help us achieve our goals and enhance the experience of our singers and audience members alike.

We need your support to help this happen. In the left hand column, please select Donate, Sponsorship, or Programme Ads if you would like to assist Ensemble Laude in achieving its musical and community goals.
